VETO

Let me be clear. I support most of the content of this bill. I do not believe that parental notifications for that should exist, I do not believe an ultrasound should be required, I do not believe women should have to wait 1 week before having the possibility to have an abortion etc etc.

However, I dont support the 20 week ban. I guess this is because I m european but I m really reluctznt with abortion in the 2nd semester except for reasons like rape etc. I would have signed this bill if it had kept the 16 week limit.

I was hesitzting with letting this bill become law or vetoing it. Considering my veto will be overridden,  that will change nothing in the end.

I motion for a vote to override the Governor's veto. Please vote AYE, NAY, or Abstain. Voting will last 72 hours or until all Representatives have voted.

I'll change my vote to aye. Not happy that the governor has vetoed this.

Aye, I guess.

Not too keen on it, as I'd rather have parental notification, but I support choice until 20 weeks.

Nay

While I disagree with the governor on ending parental notification, not requiring ultrasounds and ending the waiting period, we agree on the 16 week limit.

With a vote of 3 Ayes and 1 Nay, the Ayes constituting more than 2/3 of the sitting members of the Assembly, the motion to override the Governor's veto has passed.

This concludes my career as a member of the Mideast Assembly. Thank's to everyone who's served with me over the last five months and good luck to the next Speaker. It's been a pleasure.

The vote fails as we have five members prior to your swearing in to the senate. Veto sustained.

Nope. Progressive Realist never swore in, and therefore is not a Representative under the Constitution.

Using Article 4 Section 9 Clause 2 to count it as passed I see. I'm contesting override under Article 3 Section 1 Clause 1

Sworn in or not he is considered a member and as such the override is considered as having failed.

I vote Aye if it makes any difference. Otherwise, my proposal will be up soon.

Considering this failed (I think), I am proposing the NeverAgain amendment to the Abortion Liberalization Act of 2015

The veto has been overridden. Truman is right on that. You have to swear in if you want to be considered as a member of the assembly.
