Southern Jewish vote

Any information on the Jewish vote in the south? The only anecdotal example I have is my mother's side of the family who mostly emigrated from Germany to Texas and New Orleans in the mid 19th century. Most of them are still Democrars today though a few have become neoconish Republicans in recent years who oddly like Huckabee.
