So, what happens if a party wins more seats than it has candidates? If this poll were the real election, the Whigs would be entitled to two seats, but have only one person on their list (Clarence).

Fear not, I have joined Clarence in the Whig Party.

Socialist: 5
Con: 5
SocLib: 5
Whig: 3
Pioneer: 2
Country: 1

With the extra Whig seat going to one of the top three parties.

These results (unlikely, IMO - Workers Party turnout would likely allot them at least an extra seat) would make coalition formation a lot more interesting - either a one-seat majority or a multi-party coalition would be required.

Or you could have a minority coalition government with supply and confidence from another party!

I always like minority coalitions - talk about governing on the edge! Grin

I'm getting Con, SL, Soc at 6 each, Whig at 2, Pioneers at 1

Which gives us a Parliament of Potus, Simfan, Oakvale, rpryor03, Dereich, Cassius, Crabcake, Al, PJ, Xahar, Murica, Hifly, Talley, SJoyce, Barnes, Blair, Vega, Baconbacon, Clarence, Winfield, and Sanchez.
