Perhaps.  But Bernie was part of the Civil Rights movement when it was an act of taking your life into your own hands.  He's in his seventies, and I've got to believe he was totally unprepared for thiis and isn't exactly the kind of guy to go toe to toe in a fistfight with these folks.

It wasn't Sanders's event, though he did draw the crowd. In any case, his instincts served him well. The people who interrupted him looked like idiots, helping motivate BlackLiveMatters to reconcile with him, which helps him. And Trump saying this helps him too. I figure he's trying to bait them into crashing his own events.
