Surprisingly detailed if still fundamentally wrong-headed. Good God, Trump may be for real.

More reason to support the almighty Trump. All these bluthering GOP fools are upset that the guy they've called an "idiot" time after time is outlining the most sensible and well reasoned policy in all the field.

Not only the front runner but objectively the best candidate. Victory here we come!

Surprisingly detailed. Good God, Trump may be got real.

This. Trump, for all of his verbal short comings, is taking the reigns on the immigration issue. There's very little in this paper for the rest of the candidates to disagree with.

After over a month of dominating headlines by insulting his opponents and making offensive statements, Trump has pulled the ultimate twist.  Trump's biggest surprise yet: actually putting forward detailed policy positions.

Seriously, this is probably the most detailed policy officially put forward by any candidate.

Bunch of nothing = Detailed Immigration Policy

He uses a bunch of angry words curtailed to sound sensible. It, quite simply, doesn't work. To quote John Stossel, "The facts show immigration is mostly good."

Yes, I am in panic mode. Donald Trump hates freedom. he hates capitalism. He hates immigrants. He hates women. He hates America. He is dumb, incompetent, and clueless on the economy and foreign policy. He is angry, bitter, and divisive. His supporters are not well read. Yet, he leads in public opinion polls and makes all Republicans look awful.

With that being said, I will continue to speak out against his candidacy and correct the record when the man lies. I would encourage all Republicans to do the same.

From the perspective of someone on the other side of the isle (way on the other side), your description applies equally well to all the Republican candidates, not just Trump.

I don't believe that is fair. The fact of the matter is, the Democratic Party is the party that has become out of touch with ordinary Americans. The Democrats like to talk about how they want to help the poor and punish the rich, but the reality is that today, under Barack Obama, the rich are actually doing just fine - it's the middle class who are squeezed and the poor who are worse off today than they were in 2009. The poverty rate is at a 50 year high today, they can't get ahead because the administration has implemented policies that have hurt job growth, especially for people seeking jobs in small businesses. Frankly, the Democratic Party has declared war on capitalism. Donald Trump hates capitalism more than most Democrats, and that's really saying something because the left hates capitalism. Clearly, President Obama is also clueless on foreign policy and the economy, as is Hillary Clinton. Obama and Clinton don't really care about women, they just want to scare them into the voting booth to help their ideological agenda. They believe by promising women free contraception, they'll win votes. It's disgusting how the Democrats believe women are stupid, it's just as bad as Trump quite frankly. Just as there are stupid men who like handouts, there are stupid women like Sandra Fluke who want free stuff, but the majority of women in this country are hard working and bright, they deserve better than the Democratic Party.

Nah, he should be panicking.

Watching Trump win over the heart & soul of the Republican Party while simultaneously putting the final nail in the coffin on the Bush-Rove legacy was a nightmare scenario he couldn't have possibly imagined just two months ago.

I appreciate your'e comments and respect the views you hold.

But in the end, this campaign can't be about George W. Bush. Bush got some things right, some things he got wrong. This campaign has to be about who can reverse Obama's failed policies, who can put in place policies that can foster economic growth, and who can conduct a foreign policy that protects our national security interests. Donald Trump has lowered the level of dialogue in this campaign, and the only policy paper he's put out is filled with lies. Unfortunately, there are folks in both political parties who are not well read - Trump and Clinton supporters prove this each and everyday.

Nasty.

I think we should then start by abolishing visa requirements for citizens of China and India and promoting the Asian flight hub in Tijuana. Marketing  Puerto Peñasco as a resort town for the Middle Eastern travelers would also be helpful.

We could also, of course, correct the WWII wrong and announce that Europe should send the refugees that reach its shores for temporary resettlement in the states of Chihuahua and Tamaulipas.

Mitt Romney never lied about illegal immigration to my knowledge though.

Look, we need a temporary worker program, we need a pathway to legal status, we need employment verification, and we should get rid of sanctuary cities. The only person who should be deported is Melania Trump because she contributes nothing to American society. Seriously though, this has been used as an issue for people like Ted Cruz who need to rely on winning the votes of the scared and ignorant, and it's been used by the Democrats to try and win over immigrants by giving them gifts.

I'm beginning to think that you are actually Jeb Bush. This is too much panic for just a supporter, this is how a candidate would lose it. Calm down, John Ellis, it will be okay.

Here is the fundamental problem. I support Jeb Bush, yes, but I have my own views as well. I am very concerned about the direction this nation is headed in. I am a strong proponent of free markets and capitalism. What we have today is quasi-capitalism, we need to return to capitalism. Donald Trump would move us further away from that goal.

To be perfectly honest, "libertarianrepublican" your'e a fraud. Anyone who supports individual liberty and libertarian principles can't support or defend someone who is the king of corporate welfare and who has wanted to take away property rights.

This is more detailed than anything Romney put out in the 6 years he ran for President.

I'm begging to think that you are actually Jeb Bush. This is too much panic for just a supporter, this is how a candidate would lose it. Calm down, John Ellis, it will be okay.

Read my response above. I'll support the nominee of the Republican Party UNLESS it is Donald Trump. Even the people who I dislike, if they are nominated, I will respect the will of my fellow Republicans and support our candidate because he/she will be better than the Democrats.

Should Bush lose the nomination, I will be greatly disappointed. But to be quite honest, it's about equally important to me that Trump loses as Bush wins because. Trump is against everything I stand for - he's about hatred, bigotry, and socialism. I'm about hope, inclusion, and capitalism.
