From what I understand, some Atlas Forum goers are elected officials.

If Atlas Forum were a political party, where would it stand on important issues?

But it's true.  I can't begin to describe the Sanders/Warren/Debs etc. love I've seen here.

Be glad that it's not AlternateHistory.com. There's a prominent member there who genuinely believes that Ronald Reagan was worse than James Buchanan.

Plenty of people here believe that too. (Same goes for AAD)

Warren and Sanders vote the same way on almost everything.  You can argue Sanders isn't a socialist either, I suppose, but it is what he calls himself.

It's pretty clear that he's not a socialist in practice.

The likes of Goldwater, Robert Taft and Ron Paul also enjoy considerably more support here than they do in 'real life'.

When comparing the Labour leadership poll on the IP board and the YouGov poll from a couple of weeks ago it would seem that this forum is a fair way to the right of the Labour Party (s)electorate. Tongue

Lots of liberals, a decent number of socialists of various stripes, a decent number of free marketeers of various stripes, and a smattering of socons, communists and other ideologies.

That averages out to a very libertine social liberal party like D66 in the Netherlands.

Anyway, the concept of this thread makes no sense. It's like asking "What if the entire population of Ohio made a political party?"

MANIFESTO

- all elections should release data down to the individual neighbourhood level.
- everything should be elected and all with fun and baffling different electoral systems to analyse
- psephology, MS Paint mapmaking and demographics should be mandatory subjects up to the age of 18.
- people should not be judged on their appearance, but on how many details about local by-elections in Noway they can recite by memory.

Don't forget that all party members must be given an FF/HP poll to determine their standing within it.
