I turned 73 yesterday my friends....and despite being a lard-ass,I feel as young as I have ever felt. LIFE is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I'd also like to extend my congratulations upon another Happy Birthday.

I do think you're absolutely right that age is just a number. Just a couple years before she died at 75, my grandma was the kind of person that could outdrink someone 50 years younger than herself (i.e. in that case, me). To a large extent, I do think age is primarily a state of mind. Even when she was in her 70s, I never considered my grandma to be old. I have two grandparents remaining (71 and 65), and I've never thought of them as old. To be honest, it takes some getting used to that my grandma is actually ageing (with COPD). But, being 28 years old, I'm almost stuck in a mindset where my grandparents are the same age when I was much younger.
