Who do you think has the best chance to get Romney's coveted endorsement?

Either Bush, Rubio or Christie. I think those are his closest friends. Kasich is a possibility too of course, they have a lot in common in many ways, yet personality/chemistry-wise they might not be all that close for all I know.

I am leaning towards Rubio, he spoke highly of Rubio in recent months.

Bush or Rubio. Romney is smart enough to know that Christie is a dead fish.

Almost certainly Rubio. Mitt does not like Jeb

Rubio.  However, if Kasich gains steam, then him.

This. If Kasich becomes a viable candidate, then I can see Romney endorsing him, however.

Rubio or Kasich.

Romney and Christie are not best friends.  Christie was a total ass to Romney during the 2012 campaign, not just with the hug, but behind the scenes as well.  Romney tried to vet Christie for the VP nod and Christie basically told all his vetters to get lost.

Voted Jeb (establishment), but didn't know that they apparently don't like each other. Rubio, then. Or Kasich if his candidacy starts to become a thing outside Atlas.

There is zero chance that Romney would endorse Christie before he was already the nominee. It was Team Romney that leaked unflattering stories about Christie after Romney lost to Obama. They hated his RNC convention speech (where he barely mentioned Romney) and werent happy about how he treated Romney during Sandy, saying he didn't want Romney to come to NJ (after the Obama 'hug').

The key thing to watch with Romney will be timing. I think he would want to have maximum leverage and be seen as the kingmaker. So I think he would want to make his play either before NH (endorsing Kasich) or before SC (endorsing Rubio). The key for him would be to try to take out Bush and anoint the once and future king of the establishment. He would be the ultimate signal to rally around a single guy.
