A mix of civil rights and international humanitarian work, I suppose. Like Carter, he'll probably be able to do a lot more good outside of the presidency on controversial subjects than in it, and will probably be more successful due to the massive political capital that's going to come with being the first successful African American president. It'll take time of course, before he becomes less divisive.
I suspect that 2025 will actually be near the start of his work too. Obama seems like he wants to chill out for a while and enjoy his family once he's done with the presidency.
