I suspect that 2025 will actually be near the start of his work too. Obama seems like he wants to chill out for a while and enjoy his family once he's done with the presidency.

Malia would be in the middle of high school by the time he stops being President so if I would imagine he'd enjoy just being a dad and husband until his kids all go to college. In 2025 he'll probably be the head of his own civil rights advocacy nonprofit.
