Only for fun, never because it felt "right" or whatever.  A bearded dude in a bra is hilarious.

Yes, two or three times, although always for a cause (party, Rocky Horror showing, etc.)

haha.  We all appreciate that you like the full-figured gals, but I think you missed the point, clarence.

Voted no.  My brother dressed as a murdered hooker for Halloween once, when we were kids.  Pretty gruesome.  I have done the trans-racial costume from time to time, but not the trans-sexual one.  In kindergarten my whole family dressed for Halloween up like what used to be called "indians" back then, and in college my girlfriend dressed up in black leather, with jackboots, black military combination cap, and riding crop, while I dressed in horizontally-striped pajamas and shaved my head.  Imagine doing that in this day and age!  Time may come when we can't dress up as a pirate, wield a cutlass and shout, "Avast, ye!" without someone crying foul and accusing us of anti-seventeenth century anglo-dutch seafaring bigotry.  Better enjoy that pirate outfit while it's still morally fashionable.

I have no problem with women cross-dressing if they want to, but men doing it is extremely creepy at best.

Maybe because men are the norm in society and it's more common to see women wearing pants then men just wearing a dress on a daily basis. Not that I agree with that, I'm fine with crossdressing though I haven't done it publically yet.

Why is it weird? Because society says so?

It seems pretty self-evident that there's nothing wrong with women wearing something like pants, a suit, a tie, etc if they want to do so.  On the other hand, I find the whole idea of men wearing dresses, bras, etc extremely creepy.  Again, it seems pretty self-evident.

it doesn't seem self-evident at all. why do you think it is?

I think it's incredibly courageous, and people should do what makes them comfortable as long as it's harmless.

To be honest I don't even like the term "crossdressing" because I feel like it implicitly reinforces gender stereotypes. We shouldn't perceive it as "cross" but I suppose that takes time.

The opposite, in fact. Ideally, things'd be legal, but people would feel an incredible sense of shame when violating social norms.
Yeah, I actually agree with this.
