Well he hasn't cornered himself just yet, but he is going to have to illustrate that he supports protecting the unborn who he just simply will not be the nominee.

I'm failing to see how these statements are particularly pro-choice.

He is accepting Roe v. Wade as the law of the land.  He is giving up on any kind of Constitutional Amendment, and there is no talk of appointing SCOTUS Justices to overturn Roe.

That's pretty much throwing in the towel when you think about it.

It is the law of thel and right now, and all he said was you have to respect current law. That doesn't mean he doesn't also support changing it.
