Trump or no Trump, I've been seriously looking for a job in my field in Canada for several months now. I'm not committing to Canadian citizenship yet or anything, but I absolutely want to have that option a few years from now. I think the problem is bigger than Trump, he just casts it into sharply lit relief. (I won't be sad to have that option if Trump's president though.)

I'd be apprehensive, as Trump really doesn't give a rip as to what public opinion is.  He IS a leader, however, and he seems to have some willingness and ability to make the effort to persuade people to his point of view.
