I could definitely see it playing to Trump's "our leaders are stupid" rhetoric and the antiestablishment candidates in general.

A shutdown would hurt both parties images. In my opinion the Republican party more so because the medias image that it was a result of them shutting down the government.

In the primary, it would certainly help Cruz.

This early off? nobody in the general. (Unless it lasts for a crazy long time and something really awful happens as a consequence)

It would throw the congressional leadership into the battle through. Which of the candidates will chuck Boehner, McConnell and their lieutenants under the bus?

I think it helps a number of people, but the most obvious loser is Marco Rubio, who will have to decide whether to vote for a clean CR to end the shutdown and piss off the base, or vote against it and hand Clinton a sword for the general.

Or punt entirely because apparently Marco Rubio doesn't actually do his job anymore.

It could help Biden if he's seem as key to coming to a final agreement.  I imagine he wouldn't declare as a candidate until after that, and so would probably miss the first debate.
