It shouldn't take a decade to obtain citizenship. And I don't have confidence in his stance of 'modernizing' the legal immigration system, since he wasn't specific.

It's even more of a flip-flop than your subject suggests. Rubio now says the debate about legal status wouldn't begin until after his presidency.

Put simply, I don't believe him.

He's saying what he needs to say to gain in the polls. Such is the panderfest that is the Republican primary. His record indicates to me he's likely to be more moderate.
