Romney is a lovely little town according to many members of my family, who are from West Virginia.

In that case, Romney. I'd rather stay in America.

Tough call.  They both seem like festive little towns, but in the end I went with Romney.  Obama seems like more going on, but I don't speak Japanese, and that's pretty much a deal breaker for me.

Romney. West Virginia is rather desolate for my taste, but I'd have no idea how to survive in Japan. I can't speak Japanese, for one. Two, I'd probably go mad over how overtly crowded Japan is in the cities.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Fukui Prefecture has a population density of about five hundred people per square mile, which is denser than Delaware but not as dense as Maryland. Obama is slightly less dense than the prefectural average.

That's slightly better. How long would I survive without knowing a lick of Japanese?

I would prefer Dole, Jura. Even if he never became President.

Obama. Mostly because I would like to live in Japan (and have an excuse to learn Japanese). I don't really have anything against West Virginia apart from politics.

I already live in a place like Romney, so I'll go with it.

Yes, Obama seems like a nice enough place and I'm sure the West Virginia village is a miserable place, but... Japan has a steep learning curve.
