Very neat, I'm torn between 1-2 candidates but Jeb has won over my support for the time being. If electability was not a factor, Ted Cruz would have my "endorsement".

I imagine multiple people are still deciding between candidates and all, but I wonder if anyone else is deciding between Paul and Sanders. I find both satisfactory on civil liberties and foreign policy which are my top issues and those are issues a president has more control over anyway. I do side with Paul on size of federal government, de-centralization, abortion. But I side with Sanders on health care and the environment. Shocked

Neither will most likely win their primary, but if a magical twist of fate resulted in them both winning I could be happy with the election no matter how it turns out. For now I am leaning towards Paul, but if he drops out first I will then switch to Sanders.

Hi -
Banners for the 2016 primaries now appear on your ultimate profile page as well.
(you can enable ultimate profile here if not already on)
Enjoy,
Dave

You heard it here first: Lincoln Chafee will carry Iowa with over 90% of the vote.

Say Biden were to jump in - can anyone confirm whether it would or would not be possible for me to switch my banner? I will vote if it is and not if it is not.

The way I see it, it is not so much the same as asking to change your vote and moreso similar to getting a yard sign/other apparel for a candidate and then replacing it in your yard when a candidate you like better comes into play.

I accidentally hit Perry but meant to go for Rubio. Any way I can get that changed?

Supposedly, if you're logged into your Atlas account, you can change it by going here: https://uselectionatlas.org/MOCK/PRESIDENT/2016R/mock.php?action=vote

It's not working for me, though. I did a write-in to see how it would display and then tried to change to Rand Paul but it keeps telling me that my "Vote was already cast." Ah well, Deez Nuts is probably a better candidate anyway.

Hi,
The link: https://uselectionatlas.org/MOCK/PRESIDENT/2016R/mock.php?action=vote

should show this text:
You have already cast your ballot. You can change your ballot here.

the here link is:
https://uselectionatlas.org/MOCK/PRESIDENT/2016R/mock.php?chg=1&action=vote

Please let me know whether this is not working for you.
Thanks,
Dave

I clicked on the second link, changed my endorsement to Rubio, hit the button, and it went to a screen saying simply "Vote was already cast".

Thanks -
Had to dig back into this again.

You need to first delete your vote at:
https://uselectionatlas.org/MOCK/PRESIDENT/2016R/mock.php?action=delete

Then you can cast your vote again in either the Democratic or Republican mock election.

Enjoy,
Dave

Dave,

in my ultimate profile it says below the 2008 mock vote "vote not public", but I'm sure I cast my ballot for Obama in 2007/08 at some point.

The logo does not show up though. The 2012 and 2016 logos are showing up. What could be the problem ?

Thanks.

I would do this if it were possible to change them.

Why would you do this ? In a real election, you cannot change your vote either ...
Because you might not have read the rules, and were trying to game the results.

If it were a real election, it wouldn't be a mock election.

The ultimate profile is looking at whether the make my vote public check box was selected.  I can change this vote to public if you like.

Enjoy,
