Murphy is a better Republican than most in the FL-GOP sometimes.

Reminder for the true progressives, Grayson doesn't support the Iran deal (Murphy does, incidentally), and Grayson is also leery of taxing income from off-shore accounts (of which he has a hefty one). Murphy might not be the best, but he's not an obnoxious hypocrite like Grayson.

Murphy voted often with Republicans in his first term to save his skin. And he increased his margins dramatically in 2014 as a result.

Thanks for reminding me of that. I originally would have said Grayson but the Iran deal is a dealbreaker for me.

Grayson has done some good things legislatively, but he's not a good person and even that aside - this is Florida. Let's not go full-Tea Party and begin pushing for "pure" candidates in swing states/districts.

Murphy.

Yes you heard me correctly. Grayson is not someone we should be running for Senate and should stay in a safe House district, and yeah his stance on the Iran deal lowered his stock a lot to me.

DailyKos used to be full of Grayson love, they're pretty scathing now: http://m.dailykos.com/story/2015/07/16/1402687/-Alan-Grayson-Is-An-Iran-Deal-Truther

Murphy is currently undecided on the deal, Grayson is leaning no.

Huh, I thought they had already publicly expressed their respective views on the deal. Still, if Grayson is leaning no, then he's probably going to go full "no".

I'm not a Democrat, but I kind of hope that Grayson wins the primary so he can lose in the general election Tea Party-style.

Amen. Grayson is a Progressive, and Progressives are just as annoying and grating as Tea Partiers.

I dislike both of them, but Murphy has a higher chance of winning the general, so him.

100% Patrick Murphy for the same reason I support Hillary over Bernie Sanders. I'm not so hell-bent on a far-left candidate who doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell in the general over someone who's almost guaranteed to win in November.

I'm all for an "Alan Grayson: too progressive for Florida" campaign. I'd love to see him/Dems losing the general election.
