Well Indiana had Dude Fest, but Kentucky actually had some pretty prominent fests too in Louisville. But since I've actually been to Dude Fest, Indiana.

As much as I hate Indiana, I still could not choose a southern state over a Midwestern one.

The Hoosier State.

This, except I don't really care about the weather.

I don't know if I'd consider Kentucky really the south. Louisville is definitely a Midwestern city. The Cincinnati suburbs in the north are also obviously Midwestern even if they vote like the South. The Appalachian coal areas in the east are basically an extension of West Virginia and that's not really the South either. So basically only the central and western parts are the South, and even there I understand most of the population lives near the river which is thus basically the Midwest...

And this is why I'd be very unwilling to live in a Yankee state.

Louisville is not *definitely* midwestern. Their accents are more southern than midwestern

Indiana is SO boring, Kentucky is better just because of that.

Indiana, definitely. But only for the northwest-most corner and Indianapolis.

Everything else is just as bad as Kentucky.

Louisville is much more similar to Nashville/Memphis/Charlotte/etc than to Milwaukee/MPLS/Chicago/etc in my opinion.
