Trump --> Paul --> Huckabee --> Christie --> (Webb) --> Biden --> (Graham) --> Sanders --> Rubio --> err, Walker --> The inevitable Ms. Hillary Clinton (2 or 3 other Republicans might be considered even with her)

I assume it goes no further than that as worst.

My second choices are Joe Biden and Rand Paul, in that order.

So here's the order of my support now:

Johnson -> Biden -> Paul -> Kasich -> Fiorina -> I guess Chafee or Webb

And that's about it.

Just out of curiosity: Why do you hate Kasich so much?

I initially wrote up a couple paragraphs about how much I detest him and many of his policy positions and his boringness, but can we for one second note that he is not a complete success? He was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers in '08. If Carly Fiorina can be blamed for the stock price of HP tanking, can we just say that he doesn't necessarily have that good of a private sector record either? I don't care if he was only tangentially related to the collapse - he is part of a toxic culture! They knew what they were doing was improper. I'm not saying he's Andrew Cuomo-level responsible - not even close - but he is involved in this whole thing. I do not trust him one bit. He will increase income inequality more than most of the candidates. And call me crazy, but I don't trust him on the budget one bit if he wins with the GOP in Congress. He (and Paul) seem to be the most serious on drastic spending cuts. Paul at least has social libertarianism to redeem him, but this is not a viable policy to pursue - it will take us back to the pre-Obama years.

Additionally, he's a major coward on gay marriage. At least Huckabee has genuine belief in his positions. Scott Walker got majorly docked for that too, but on the other hand, at least Walker stands up for life. Kasich seems like he could care less. Mitch Daniels 2.0
Being a 90s Republican is not something to be proud of. Those were dark times.

Rubio -> Walker -> Bush -> rest of the field except for Paul and Trump (my favorites will not drop out all three anyway) -> Paul and Trump.

Ideally, I'd prefer Cruz over Bush, but electability is important for me.

Out of curiosity, would you prefer Hostettler, Castle, or someone else?

Of the candidates currently running, my picks from favorite to least favorite are as follows:

Sanders>
O'Malley>
Chafee>
Webb>
Clinton>

Just yesterday, my prediction for the tickets would have been Sanders/Chafee versus Kasich/Rubio, but I just woke up from a dream in which Bush/Walker had defeated Clinton/Webb, for those who believe in premonitions. Said Democratic ticket wouldn't excite the base, and would likely lose, but I know that I shouldn't be too surprised, given that no Clinton has ever sought to excite the Democratic base. It is entirely possible that Hillary will continue to move to the Third Way/Blue Dog center and select a southern conservadem as VP. I live in Florida, an important swing state, so that would be a rough election. The likelihood that the next President will be appointing at least two of the next Supreme Court justices leads me to support even Hillary if she is the nominee.
