I am wondering if anyone has an opinion of so called "vote trading". It was talked about during the 2000 election. If you were a Nader supporter in a swing state you would agree to vote for Gore if a Gore supporter in a safe state agreed to vote for Nader. Of course, there are variations on this theme. A Democrat and Republican could agree to vote for a third party or independent because otherwise they would be cancelling out each other's vote.

Well it's obviously legal. People can vote however they want, this "strategy" included. If anything, it highlights the ridiculousness of the electoral college.
