Yes, I've mostly just binge watched this show all day and it's awesome. Of course not being absolute f[inks]ing trash makes it better than South Park obviously but it's awesome by most standards.

For once I can totally get behind brtt doing a poll. Bojack horseman is genius. Damn funny and the show plot carries genuine pathos. It's debatable whether it is better, though it is at least as good as, early South Park from 1520 years ago, but it is obviously far better than anything South Park is done since the movie.

I also love how progressive it is, even though it's not as political as Family Guy. The second episode said a lot about unnecessary militarism for example. And it makes fun of Republicans and the sanest and smartest character (Diane) is a liberal.

Aaaaaand that kind of kneejerk progressivism means that I will most likely never watch it.

Family Guy has its moments, but overall it usually doesn't make me laugh.

Well, he'd be right to do so. Family Guy is hilariously unfunny.

Bojack does actually work better as a serious show than a humorous show. It is miles beyond current South Park, though it isn't even close to older South Park. So in the grand scheme of things? No. No it's not.

That's a really stupid way to look at it. The show has far more to do with pessimism vs. optimism, and emptiness vs. fulfillment than anything political. Of course a show's going to be liberal, but that's the way entertainment is. (In before "But what about South Park!?!?!?!?!" Live a little for eff's sake)
