It seems to me that lots of people have avatars that don't match the state they live in. Either that or some people move a lot.

I'm surprised so many people say that they're from another nation.

Next time, if there is one, you should have more of a variety of "other" options. Maybe: Continental Europe (which could be divided more as well), Australia, other Oceania, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and elsewhere (e.g. ISS/Antarctica/Narnia/Middle Earth/Etc.).
