I read somewhere that Jeb's campaign (as opposed to his PAC), is short of money, and folks are taking pay cuts, and this might be part of that. They were moved to the PAC payroll. Our campaign finance laws are a mess. Who knew?

The Bush campaign actually built itself to be secondary to the super PAC. They ended Q1 with less cash on hand than Cruz and Rubio. More than any other candidate Bush has pushed the envelope on the new reality of outside money. The Bush PAC is set up to do many of the jobs campaigns usually do. In a sense they pre-zombified his campaign.

So if these 3 fundraisers are still working for his PAC the this is no biggie. If they also quit the PAC that is a big deal

Most of his money is PAC money from the fat cats. You can see the distribution of money by size of contribution here.

http://dailycaller.com/2015/08/20/bush-donors-jump-ship-for-kasich/

Is it safe to presume we know where they're going?

Perhaps the candidate who has a two point lead over Clinton in a state Obama won by six points?
