Second favorite nut behind the Pecan. RIP Pea-NUT. You will always be a legume, but never in my heart.

FN

Not quite up to par with almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts or pecans though.

Got to admit that peanuts take the cake any day, but I guess cashews beat almonds. Not sure about pecans or almonds.

Common misconception. By the absurdly specific scientific definition under which peanuts aren't nuts, neither are pecans or cashews. For some reason people keep repeating the line "peanuts aren't really nuts," not realizing that by that definition, hardly anything that we call nuts are nuts. "Legume" is not mutually exclusive with the colloquial definition of nut.

Anyway, freedom nuts. Probably my favorite besides brazil nuts.

Wonderful, but fattening. Thus none are allowed in the Torie pad. Partner Dan would consume them in about 30 minutes. Tongue

Notable member of an interesting plant family. It's related to pistachios, mangoes, and poison ivy Tongue
