If Bernie could get this close... Hillary is very lucky that she decided to sit this one out.

I imagine Hillary would be where she is and Bernie would be a non-entity.

I don't think Sanders would have jumped in if Warren ran, they agree on way too many issues to run and split the very liberal vote

They'd be about the same - I think Bernie Sanders is the better politician, easily.

Warren may run a few points ahead of Sanders because of the female vote, but they're both white liberals from New England whose main focus is income inequality.

This. Plus, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren aren't self-interested hacks who would jump into the race wholly for their own gain.

I'm glad you qualified that, because they're still politicians Tongue

Sanders may be a politician, but he's no fool. He would almost certainly not have run if Lauren threw her hat into the ring. If that happened, Warren would not be dealing with a very serious general election issues of having been a self-described socialist, not to mention being in her seventies like Bernie. She would, though, have the advantage of being a woman and negating some of Hillary's face. She was still have in all likelihood the serious weaknesses among non-white voters at Sanders does, but she would be undoubtably even closer in national polls, maybe even to the point of running close or neck and neck with Clinton in Iowa. It would frankly be a lot like the current Clinton vs Sanders race without most of Bernese biggest liabilities, other than perhaps both he and Warren are decidedly Chrisman challenged.
