302 - 236

John Kasich(R-OH)/Tim Pawlenty(R-MN) - 50.1%
Sherrod Brown(D-OH)/Bill De Blasio(D-NY) - 47.6%
Other: 2.2%

Governor:
John Kasich(R-Franklin)/Mary Taylor(R-Summit) - 55.6%
Sherrod Brown(D-Cuyahoga)/Nan Whaley(D-Montgomery - 43.3%
Other: 1.0%

Whaley outshines the top of the ticket. Running mostly on her energy, Brown has an average of the above. He can choose to either make it about 49.9% to 49.0% by resigning or refuse to resign and make it 60% - 38%.

If he resigned, I think Ohio law calls a special election. If he doesn't resign, he becomes massively unpopular and is seen as abusing the system.
