Have you ever had any wine made from something other than grapes?

I've had plum wine and rice wine (sake).  Both were pretty good.  I'd also like to try apple and other types of fruit wine.

I had pumpkin wine, it was alright.  Meant to be served warmed which was a little weird.

Yeah, I had apple wine - it was okay, nothing special. I know a few people who really like apple wine.

I also had rice wine and did not really care for it.

I had blackberry wine recently. It's good, but not something I'd have frequently.

Sake is always good.

Isn't "apple wine" just cider? I'm a fan of cider, especially a good scrumpy cider.

Id imagine apple wine is fortified with a lot of sugar for a higher alcohol content.  Apples are not sugary enough on their own.
