Background checking mental illnesses sounds like:

"Stop the AD/HD evil doers from daring to possess a gun!"

Which would basically disqualify all of Atlas. /thread

In all seriousness, I support seventy-two hour background checks preventing criminals, those previously accused of being violent criminals, and severe mental illnesses. This and any other gun control is best handled at the state level, though the first and third sounds good federally, with a minimum of seventy-two hours for background checks.
