Donald Trump hates immigrants. He hates freedom. He hates capitalism. He hates America. He likes appeasing radical islam, gun-grabbing, socialism, and Yugoslavian bimbos. As much as I like Jeb Bush, the #1 goal of the GOP this year should be defeating this cockroach. If Bush is in the best position to do that, as I believe he is, great. If it's someone else, fine. But anyone but Trump will do, the man is a madman.

You're sounding more racist than boblolaw here...

1. You are right. I take back the part about Yugoslavia. He likes bimbos.

CA is 39% Hispanic, 38% White, 5% Black and 15% Asian.

In 2000, CA was 50% white. In 1970, it was 70% white. The percent white is falling by nearly 1% per year. By 2030, CA will be 25% white at most. At some point a "tipping point" will be reached and the outward flow of white (and blacks-fewer of them in CA today than 1970) there will literally be hundreds of thousands of whites leaving the state at once. By 2040, CA will be lucky to be 10% white, kind of like ZA.

Hispanics are easily swayed by leftist demogogues. Chavez, Christina Kirchner, Maduro. That is CA's future.

And that's why New Mexico, a state that is 47% Hispanic, voted for Susana Martinez, right? You are a complete joke.

So Bobloblaw could only name leftists "demogogues" from 2 countries (Venezuela and Argentina) and it's also hilarious since the immigrants from those countries to the USA are more likely to be of middle class or upper middle class and opposed to both Maduro and Kirchner.

Sounds like the ideal candidate if the GOP is trying for a greater share of the Hispanic vote. Is ˇJabe! positioning himself for the VP slot?

Ecuador and Bolivia both have leftists. Nicaragua is another. In fact the only country in the region not to embrace leftism in the past 40 years has been Costa Rica.

Yes, future govs of CA by 2030, will be far more like Chavez and less like Jerry Brown

I love this country, I love our values, and I love how in the end, our people are hard-working, honest, and hopeful. But like every country, even great ones, we have had some challenges in our history. The treatment of Asian Americans throughout history has been awful, the same can be said about black Americans for sure.

Today, there are some who wish to treat those from South America as second-class citizens. I am against illegal immigration. Coming here illegally is a crime, and we should stop illegal immigration by turning off magnets such as sanctuary cities and also implementing e-verify. But engaging in group blame the way Mr. Trump has is despicable and unpatriotic. Those who are here illegally should get in line with everyone else. That line begins with a pathway to legalized status where those here illegally work, learn english, pay taxes, and perhaps pay a penalty. But deporting folks causes several problems. First, it requires our law enforcement to potentially violate the 4th amendment rights of naturalized citizens who have not committed any crime just because of how they look as they go door-to-door searching for illegals. Secondly, the logistics would be a nightmare. Third, the cost would be a minimum of $140 billion.

The fact is that legal immigrants have helped preserve jobs, increase home values, and bring jobs to communities. Foreign-born citizens are twice as likely to open a business as natives. Furthermore, there are immigrants who are willing to take jobs Americans do not want, or do not have the skills to do. This demonetization of immigrants by political opportunists is immoral and it leads to bad policy outcomes.

Do you even live in California? Do you have any idea what is going on here? Immigration from Mexico into California has been occurring for more than half a century now. There are plenty of Hispanics here who barely speak any Spanish. On the other hand, the bilingual movement is actually pretty strong in New Mexico. That still didn't make them elect Chavez.

Look, I think bobloblaw is scum and should be droned by President Obama for his fascist sentiments but there's an element of truth to his claim. Latinos are pretty supportive of traditional left-wing measures and some of this is related to the political culture of their countries of origin. Why would Mexican immigrants be concerned about government intervention in the economy if they're proud of PEMEX?

Of course, I don't think that this means that a Hugo Chavez will be elected in California, that's some "I smoke PCP" garbage posting but the data is clear that 1st generation immigrants from Latin America take a very different view of political economy than Anglos.

Look at this wonderful chart!

Hispanics (in general terms) are also very religious. It's not unthinkable that they would vote Republican. GWB got 44% of the Hispanic vote in 2004.
