I would encourage anyone who comes to the United States to learn our language. However, learning a language can take years. If someone wants to participate in the Democratic process before they know the language, I don't think it's a bad thing if candidates seek to communicate with them.

"Jeb!" must have missed the part where Latinos don't make up a significant part of the Republican primary electorate.

"El hombre no es conservador."

Yes, Jeb!, keep it up.

Problem for Yeb is Hispanics arent conservador either. Hispanics are very open to left wing demogoguery. Latin American countries are full of them.

The next gov of CA is more likely to be Hugo Chavez than (forget Reagan) even Gov Brown.
You don't know what you are talking about. California wouldn't vote for someone like Chávez.

CA is 39% Hispanic, 38% White, 5% Black and 15% Asian.

In 2000, CA was 50% white. In 1970, it was 70% white. The percent white is falling by nearly 1% per year. By 2030, CA will be 25% white at most. At some point a "tipping point" will be reached and the outward flow of white (and blacks-fewer of them in CA today than 1970) there will literally be hundreds of thousands of whites leaving the state at once. By 2040, CA will be lucky to be 10% white, kind of like ZA.

Hispanics are easily swayed by leftist demogogues. Chavez, Christina Kirchner, Maduro. That is CA's future.

Alright David Duke, good to know.

So you'd be okay with ballots printed in Spanish?

There goes Jeb! pretending he's Latino again.
Of all the reasons to attack Bush, you chose his ability to speak Spanish. Who are you, Donald Trump?

No, but if candidates want to speak in Spanish I'm okay with it.

No, but it wins him a little bit of respect from me.

This is the strategy I'd actually advise to any serious GOPer, goad Trump, get him to overreach. We've seen his supporters don't seem to have a limit yet... but we'll see.

The other is to get him to sue everyone, so he looks like the glass-jawed tosser he is.
