Can we stop ISIS?

International peacekeepers got attacked in Sinai peninsula by ISIS terrorists. I had no idea they've already reached Egypt. Do we have enough of power to stop them? It seems like our airstrikes are not enough to get rid of them. So what should we do next? Deploy more troops in Syria and Iraq or just abandon the region? I'm pretty sure that right after we destroy ISIS the terrorists will regroup and form a new terrorist organization.

Lots of different terrorists have pledged allegiance to ISIS, just like they used to pledge allegiance to al Qaeda. Some of them are in Sinai. Boko Haram in Nigeria also claims to be ISIS. ISIS has not "made it to Egypt" in any meaningful sense.

Yes, by helping the middle east become even more of a hellhole to the point where a more radical group takes over.
