Quite possibly, depends on the opponent.

In Simcoe County you would win in a 2-way race against a Republican by 20 points, but against a Canadian Conservative it would be a tossup, although I'd guess you would win narrowly.

Possibly, but it would be difficult.

Since I have moved and been bumping lots of things anyway...

Anyway, there's no chance in hell I'd win my own I.C., given its straight R record even in '64. But what can you expect from the land of Liberty University.

Most likely, unless the GOP candidate is more moderate.

Almost certainly. We're one of the Safe, Safe R counties. We last voted for a Democrat statewide in the 2010 gubernatorial election. We voted for Holt in 2004, when he lost by 10 points. We voted for Hutchinson in 2006, when he lost by fifteen points. If Kent loses by over fifteen points in Arkansas, he might lose us.

As a Republican yes, but turnout would be lower.

As a Democrat or Indie, he'd get curbstomped.

Easily in the general, but probably not in the primary.

If the Democratic candidate was Coakley-level incompetent, then yes, easily.

Not in a Democratic primary, but obviously in a general.

Likely, although not without the (D) next to the name.
