I still think Hillary will win the nomination, despite everything falling apart.

Still Hillary. If her campaign falls apart, it could be Biden, Sanders, O'Malley, or someone completely new.

Clinton is obviously in the lead, but I'm holding out hope that Sanders pulls out a surprise win.

Call me crazy, but I think Biden could fill the vacuum if Hillary drops out-which could happen if what I think is in the emails is there.

voted 'other'.. not as in other candidate but as in let's wait until 2016 get's closer
Clinton is not 100% certainty at this point. She may be the most likely, but I think that there is too much overconfidence at this point. Don't forget she lost to Obama in 2008, and that wasn't necessarily the conventional wisdom. At the same time I am not predicting that someone else will win the nomination, because she is way ahead at this point. Also, I think it is very important for voters to feel that they have another choice. Al Gore was basically the 'heir apparent' in 2000. His choice of Lieberman, in hindsight, could have been what did him in. Why else would voters have preferred Bush over him? (actually they didn't Gore got a plurality but not a majority)

Biden's chances are definitely not 0%.

Biden may very well be nominee; he is close to Clinton in Iowa; and this is the same state that put Obama on top. Go Biden.

I would agree with this. Hillary is far from a perfect candidate but she is not exactly facing Obama caliber competition this time.

FWIW If I ignored electability I would be a Bernie guy but I  am reluctantly supporting Hillary because IMHO she has the best chance to win.

Hillary will pull through in the end, with strong competition from Bernie Sanders that will only benefit her in the long run.

In a way, I'm glad we're getting all these 'scandals' out of the way now (pending final settlement of the e-mail fiasco).  By the time we're voting in the primaries and (especially) in the general election, it will be old news.  Imagine where we would be if these allegations had come out this time next year....    Tongue

Voted O'Malley in an attempt to place a risky bet.

Asides from the obvious route, he could easily be a compromise choice between Clinton and Samders.

LOL at Martin O'Malley being put below 'Other'

I do think that the idea of Hillary Clinton suddenly imploding and being replaced by some new entry to the race is probably more likely than Martin O'Malley getting the nomination.

Have you seen the polls? Biden clearly takes away votes from Clinton. Sanders maintains his 20% or so showing with or without Biden. I think I saw a poll with both Biden included and not included, and it showed Clinton lost about 10 points while Sanders lost 1. Sanders' supporters are the most active and supportive, you think they're going to defect to Biden, another establishment D?

Biden splits the Anti-Hillary vote. He makes it pretty competitive between the three of them in Iowa.
