North Carolina is good for the South, but I still vote for Montana.

Clearly NC.

But yeah, the Atlas is very consistent in picking desolate, dark freezers over mild, warm places with beaches and long growing seasons, etc. socialization of healthcare is often cited as the reason, but that would not apply in this case.

NC easily.

Montana seems nice in theory but after a few winters there I'd be pretty lonely and depressed. Nice to visit, terrible to live in.

Yeah, for whatever reason this forum loves the places with the worst weather.

He's an outlier.  Tongue

Atlas also seems to prefer heavily white states, on average.

The Atlas might be one of the least diverse places anywhere. There are all-male clubs that have more active female members than we do, the median skin tone is probably whiter than milk. Basicly our only saving grace is that we have a huge LGBT community on here. Tongue

That also makes me start wondering why there are more liberal whites in nearly all-white environments. Atlas would make such an interesting case study.

It's funny how North Carolina has been consistently exactly two votes behind Montana for the majority of the time this poll has been up.
