Every time dudeabides makes a post on Trump, my opinion of Trump goes up a little.

On the other hand, I hate Bush's policies but admit dudeabides defends him in a fairly articulate manner with explainations that are missing from many Republicans posters on this board. I'm glad that he is a poster of this board even if I don't agree with him on much.

FF. I like that, even if he can often exaggerate facts or resort to personal attacks on Trump, he usually lays out clear, coherent reasons for his beliefs. I know I'm guilty of making random assertions based more on "I think I heard..." or "it must be the case that..." and dudeabides tends to be pretty good about not doing that. Plus, as someone who's whole-heartedly supporting one candidate, it's nice to have someone else doing the same, even if it's for a different person.

But really, though. Jeb?

His choice of Jeb as the best POTUS, is certainly a defensible position. However, his lack of interest in seeing the grays, and flaws, and trying to engage in a balancing of the plus and minuses, and basically become a shill for Jeb, causes his credibility and so forth, to be degraded on this forum. That is not entirely his "problem" really, as it pertains to here. As Cathcon noted, a more cynical and jaded approach, is more popular here. Never really trust most politicians. Most lack the imagination and courage, do just do it, in a way that would inspire, even at the risk of their careers. That is what would really inspire.
