I've met my former Rep. Rick Larsen twice.  Also met Seattle City Councilwoman Kshama Sawant.  And my sh*tbag former State Sen. Tim Sheldon.  Not really into the whole "meeting famous people" thing.  People tend to be less impressive in person than you imagine them in your head.

Michael Howard, Michael Gove, Alun Cairns, Alan Duncan, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Jim Cunningham, Natalie Bennett, and a couple of MEP's.

Many, but I'd say the most personable ones are Tim Kaine, Joe Manchin and Kay Hagan.

I briefly met Dick DeVos when he ran for governor of Michigan in 2006.  I have a signed business card from the campaign.

My state senator in Lansing lives in my hometown; when he was on the county board of commissioners, he led my fourth grade Junior Achievement program, and I've gotten to know him quite well for a politician.  I even attended a couple fundraisers for him during his 2014 campaign.  He's actually quite well known and respected in the community, and most of them seem to know him personally in some form.

Does staring at the back of former President's head count?

(from a 2009 conference commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Round Table agreements I've covered)
