Hmm tough question. Chretien would probably suffer more from ethics issues, but he has more credibility as a social Liberal than Martin. I'm guessing the effect would be something like NDP-2, CPC +2. Still a Liberal minority, but a much narrower one, and we don't get all the stuff with Cadman, Grewal, and Stronach.

How was Chretien perceived vs. Martin in Quebec?
