He didn't even qualify for the kiddie table this time, but will still be able to contribute via Twitter:

Since I'm about as relevant to the GOP race as Jim Gilmore, I'm announcing here that I'm also going to live tweet the debate.

you're saying this as a joke, but gilmore really has a pathetic number of twitter followers, even compared to the rest of this LOSER field

He should drop out and run for citywide office.

So the "Jim Gilmore" on Twitter might actually be an illegal immigrant?  Why can't we have e-verify on Twitter?

He should drop out and run for statewide office.
He already tried and lost. Perhaps he should try for a Congressional seat in a safe R district when an incumbent retires.

Has anyone compared Republican likes/followers to Democratic ones.  My gut tells me that the GOP would do best on Facebook, the Democrats on Instagram, and Twitter would be somewhere in the middle.

Sounds about right.

Anyway, I'm surprised Gilmore is being so ignored by the media, it's pretty well-established that he's one of the major 17 (now 16) candidates and it's kind of obnoxious to exclude him but include everyone else intentionally.

Props to Chafee, he's not in last...

Though I'm sure Conan helped him out quite a bit.

He probably couldn't win the primary.  He was creamed by Mark Warner in 2008 and has never recovered from this.  Santorum was far more resilient.

Gilmore is actually very unpopular in VA from his time as Governor.  The last PPP poll of him there had him at a -24 favorability.  While the GOP's bench in VA is fairly weak, even someone like Cuccinelli would be a stronger candidate.

Maybe when Cantor retires he can run for VA-7.

Here is his Twitter feed, so you can go back and read what he wrote during the debate:

https://twitter.com/gov_gilmore

The most important thing to note is that his pick for the $10 bill is Molly Pitcher.
