Hey everyone,
As ya'll may have noticed, I've been out for the past few months. I've been coming to the site to get data, but not actively posting. Thats really the longest I've gone without posting since I joined! I'm going to try to get myself more involved again.
In any case, I've had something of a transition in my life. For the past two years, I worked with the federal government in DC. I didn't advertise it because of the sensitive nature of some of my work. At first it was a great experience. For the last year, though, things got much rougher. Finally, in July, I decided to take the plunge and leave. It sort of naturally was a time to take a break from posting, as well.
I've working on some maps during my forum hiatus (of course), so hopefully I'll be getting those up soon. Also, at AOSHQDD, we've just started ramping up for the next election cycle, so I also wanted to check back in here as well.
Its just been very tough for me to deal with politics without Landrieu and Hagan
