I can't vote for WJB after his actions at the scopes Trial
Yeah, I knew someone would bring that up. 

It's a legit point. I have nothing against -8, 0 populism, but I do have something against -8, 8 populism, which is what he wanted.
I don't know, do you really think being against teaching evolution is only enough to garner a social positive 8?  I understand your point, though.

He was also for teaching [/i]only[/i] creationism. With that stance, and generally being a religous fundamentalist, I'd wager he'd be pro-life, pro-school prayer, in much agreement with the religous right.

Yeah, but I see the religious right as being around +5 or +6.  Those positions strike me as about the polar opposite of France's policies perhaps.  You go to Iran or Saudi Arabia, then you'll see a +8/+9
