Good comedian though said some pretty horribly racist stuff about Palestinians. Neutral

Slight FF??? More like huge FF.

She was the greatest female American comic of my lifetime. That she died so suddenly (and so early-I thought she had another ten years left in her) is a great shame.

Thought the Palestine/Michelle Obama comments were a bit off-putting, but looking back, I guess I can bump her up to Regular FF.

She's a comic, not a philosopher. If people are going to defend those pricks at Charlie Hedbo, than how can you not defend Joan Rivers?

But the people at Charlie Hebdo were right.

You know what Joan Rivers and the guys at Charlie Hedbo have in common? They died stupid and unnecessary deaths. You know what they don't have in common? Joan Rivers made people laugh because she believed laughter was the best medicine. The people at Charlie Hedbo were basically immature teenagers who couldn't defend their own views and disguised it as "edgy satire."

In the end, one woman will be missed by millions. And another twelve will be quickly forgotten in a years time.

They both fought for the rights guaranteed by the first amendment, both were all about satire, and both had tragic occurrences befall them. I don't think calling them pricks is really a good call, because in that logic you could say the same about Mrs. Rivers as she was pretty "edgy" herself (Palestine, Obama, etc.)... She didn't die because of something she said though.

Anyways, I liked her a good amount. Always hate when malpractice occurs. Doctors at Mount Sinai were complete HP's, but she wasn't. ;-;

If she's good enough for Donald, she's good enough for me. FF.

Her face is much more beautiful than Fiorina's.

I voted HP solely because the OP said "Discuss" instead of "Can we talk?"

HP. Hairspray was an insult to its audience's intelligence and possibly the worst movie that I have ever watched. Terrible!
The John Waters movie (nor it's remake) had nothing to do with Joan Rivers.  And while it's not my favorite Waters movie, but it's certainly not an insult to the audience's intelligence.  (I have not seen the remake...sh**tty cast)

edit-unless this is a joke I don't get.....
