Misguided (in using individual terrorism as a means of advancing communist politics), wrong (in subscribing to Third Worldism), and dumb (developing 'white skin privilege' politics as a way of analyzing the situation in the United States). Nevertheless, they were willing to put their lives on the line for the cause and to some extent, I think they deserve a Freedom Fighter vote on that alone, even if they were fundamentally incorrect in their political perspectives. A hell of a lot more grounded in Marxism than any of the sects that survived the 1970s, that's for sure.
