It begins with a barracuda killing Nemo's mother and siblings, then has him kidnapped and taken to a strange place, then has Marlin and Dory being chased by sharks, then has them get stung by jellyfish, then has them swallowed by a whale.  To top it all off, Nemo and the others in the aquarium are tortured by a little girl.  If that's not scary, then I don't know what is.

Are you five years old?

Time to finally ban Oldies, imo.

Dear Zachary. Fantastic documentary, you should all watch it (don't read about it first, just watch it). I cannot bear to see it a second time.

This thread made me have a funny dream about oldies and his mother who were actually fish living in Lake Michigan. There was a pretty good joke in there too, but unfortunately, I can't remember, and it's really bugging me. Maybe one of your brains works like mine and can get something out of that, haha.

Thought of another one: August Osage County. I liked the play, and I love basically all of the actors in it, but it hit a pretty personal nerve and I walked out midway through.

Just watched the trailer to Salo. Jesus Christ. I've never believed in any form of censorship until tonight.

I'm glad you are waking up to the evils of unrestrained free speech and the need to put appropriate limits on it (though I disagree in this particular instance). Wink

It is an excellent movie, but I can't handle watching it again. The OP is not "bad movie".

Shutter Island was pretty lame. Way too predictable and cliched.

Some people seem to be ignoring Kalwejt's premise which, as I understand it, is movies you found good but still wouldn't rewatch. I can think of few such movies but one that does come to mind is Requiem for a Dream. I'm never ever rewatching that.

I've sat through Salo but with my back turned while some of my friends watched it. I don't intend to ever watch it.

None, though the only horror movie I've ever seen is The Shining, and that wasn't very disturbing at all.
