I will say this about Jim Gilmore - if Vanity Fair wrote an extended profile of him, I would read it all the way through. He has a pretty interesting biography, and I'm surprised he doesn't focus on it more. Then again, the only time I've seen him speak was the first kiddy table debate.

Commend him for what? He may be a candidate, but he's not campaigning nor does he have anything that we can meaningfully refer to as a campaign. It's basically a latter-day Stassen-type operation.

I think Perry and Walker should be commended for dropping out when it became clear that things weren't going their way, rather than the types of Gilmore getting respect for sticking around too long.
