Such a great human rights record there. Of course we were one of the last countries to ban the death penalty for minors, so we're probably not going to call Saudi Arabia out on this. Iran and Sudan are the 2 other countries in the world that have executed minors in the last 6 years. If even North Korea and Eritrea aren't as bad as you.....

Country with terrible human rights record gets a seat on the UN Human Rights Council. How exactly is this newsworthy? This has been a problem ever since the Human Rights Council came into existence.

I'm all for abolishing the Human Rights Council. The UN's main function is to serve as forum of all existing sovereign governments on the planet. Many of these governments are dictatorships. Hence, a UN Human Rights Council also consists of dictatorship, rendering the council pointless.
