So far this year 6 different candidates have lead at least one major national poll (those listed on RCP). Those would be Huckabee, Walker, Rubio, Bush, Carson and of course Trump.

So is it going to be Trump Trump Trump until the end of the year or will anyone else get a chance to lead in a poll (or lead again).

Only Trump. I thought Carson would take the lead at some point but things aren't looking so hot for him now. Rubio is another possibility but let's hope that doesn't happen.

Trump and only Trump. He has debunked Jeb as his main competetion and lesser known candidate Fiorina is his other competetor. Go Trump.

Trump, Fiorina, Carson, Cruz, and Rubio, in that order. Trump's collapse is likely starting now, and Carson and Fiorina will probably get their time at the top for a bit after that. After the dust settles and we move into the winter, Bush, Cruz, and Rubio use their massive fundraising to bring down Carson and Fiorina and it moves into a 3-way race, though Bush will never lead.

Until the end of the primary season is one thing, but for the end of the year, it could very well only be Trump. There's a chance it could switch to Fiorina, in which case there will probably then be another switch afterwards, possibly to Cruz.

Trump, Carson, Rubio and Fiorina. But really, it would be foolish to rule out too many of the candidates. Just about anything could happen still.

Trump staying on top for the rest of the year or Carson surging into the lead by the end of the month both seem realistic.

I just put Trump, but if he falters all bets are off.

Fiorina, Carson, Rubio, Cruz, and Bush could possibly do it.

Trump. Fiorina and Rubio are also possible.

Possibly only Trump, but he shouldn't be an option, because he will definately lead for a while.
So I voted Carson as the most likely.  Even though "only Trump"  is the most likely option, and I don't know if I am making my opinion totally clear or not.

edit: "only Trump" until February at the earliest is my guess..

edit: this poll would look very different if only one option were permitted.
