I think this is alright. The actual status of Canada is something that has been misstated and misunderstood for a long time. We should work to make it clearer that we have not annexed Canada.

My opinion exactly-- it demonstrates good intentions on our part to the Canadian government, and all our other neighbors.

Fine by me. Would the sponsor kindly explain what changes are being made to Article V, Section 5?

It has been misunderstood generally, and I think some of have welcomed that even amongst its supporters as it makes it seem like more of a radical change than it really was.

The maps showing Atlasia including Canada do not help and surely must count as map propaganda (cannot remember the name for this, but it was an interesting read I came across in an article back in 2010 while doing unrelated research for a college English project. Ah sweet memories, I miss that time so much now). Anyway, it is basically using maps to promote nationalism or even jingoistic desires regarding other countries. The maps make Canada look like it has been munched on and devoured by Gluttonous Atlasia.

It removes the term "limited jurisdictional authority".

To be honest, I think that the Atlasian map should be 50 states + DC and PR.
I don't think we need Canada provincies, considered that most of them are uninhabited.
The ConCon will debate about the map and I'm sure we'll be able to debate about Canada.

This isn't part of the constitution. This is rewording a bilateral agreement. The ConCon will not be able to address this unless you want an unusually restrictive document.

Yes, I know that.
I was only generally speaking about the Canada provinces.

I believe this has already become law, as it was passed by the Senate more than a week ago.

Yea, it should have become effective a week ago or so.
