LeinadWhat We Are: - A voice for peaceful co-existence between the Republic of Atlasia and South America, in opposition to extremists on boths sides who prefer irrational hate over rational debate.
What We Are Not: - A militant organization. Peace is our goal, therefore it is also our method. We condone peaceful protests of inadequate rule, but oppose violent ones.
- A political party. We're a non-partisan entity, although our members can join political parties and run for office themselves; in fact, we encourage political activity among our ranks.
What We Believe In: - Both Atlasia and South America are better off with each other, so we staunchly oppose any efforts by a citizen of one nation to bring the other nation down, or hurt the other nation or it's citizens in any way whatsoever.
- As of now, a ban on simultaneous officeholding (outside of specific, high-ranking offices such as the President, Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs officers, or GMs) would cause more harm than good.
- Before we can have serious relations, we need our GMs to coordinate to make sure we're operating within the same universe. Sort of like synchronizing watches.
How You Can Help: - Any Atlasian citizen can become a member by signing their name in this thread.
- Members can help decide how this is ran. I'm...not sure how that will work yet. I guess that's item number one on the agenda!
- To help advance our goals, get elected and make a difference! (If you're already elected that saves a step.)
