I was looking forward to the Sept 10th announcement, but he's still grieving, so he punted.

I hear a Presidential Campaign is the best way to rid yourself of the blues.

His son died pretty recently, cut him some slack. A Presidential campaign is a long and exhausting task to demand of someone.

Do I think Joe Biden would be a good President? Probably not. Do I think Joe Biden is a good person? Absolutely.

My point in saying this is at least I can respect Biden and should the Democrats win in 2016, I'd take Biden over Clinton because he at least cares about the country.

Hope he runs AND secures an early Obama endorsement.

He is polling well and even gaining momentum as a candidate without actually running. I don't see any need to rush things assuming he is in for the first debate in October.

I like Biden on a personal level so I'm still hoping he runs. I'd much prefer him being the Democratic nominee if the Democratic nominee had to win in 2016.

I think he wants to run, but doesn't want to disrespect Hillary. His best bet is right before South Carolina, under the assumption that Hillary has totally imploded by then (bad polling numbers from emailgate, or whatever happens).

What? The filing deadline for SC Dem is in early November. He wouldn't even be on the ballot.

Arkansas has the earliest deadline, November 9. And a much bigger deal is Texas, the following day. There are several other states, including NH, before SC. SC is December 7th.

"I don't think any man or woman should run for president unless, number one, they know exactly why they would want to be president and, number two, they can look at folks out there and say, 'I promise you, you have my whole heart, my whole soul, my energy, and my passion to do this,'" Biden told the Colbert
"And I'd be lying if I said that I knew I was there," Biden continued.

The best thing about Biden is that he can create both of my geographically perfect maps:

402 - 136
Vice Pres. Joseph Biden(D-DE)/Mayor Stephen Benjamin(D-SC)
Businessman Donald Trump(R-NY)/Sen. Cory Gardner(R-CO)

273 - 265

Sen. Marco Rubio(R-FL)/Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty(R-MN)
Vice Pres. Joe Biden(D-DE)/Rep. André Carson(D-IN)

Are you from the future?

Also, he has more than enough reason not to run if that's what he decides, and both Hillary and Bernie are great people too.

I'm only disappointed in his indecision. He needs to decide one way or another.

It's obvious he's not going to run at this point.

Hillary is horrible and Sanders would result in a landslide for the Republicans and is way too left for my liking.
